Royal Misfit

Cat Del Re is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, producer, and founder whose work lives at the intersection of film, identity, and emotionally charged storytelling, stories about the hidden lives women are forced to carry, and the women the world can't quite contain or look away from.

As co-founder of We're There Films, Cat develops female-driven projects across elevated genre, psychological drama, dark comedy, and visually bold narrative worlds, often exploring themes of body, inheritance, silence, and transformation. Her award-winning shorts — written, directed, and produced under the company. Her proof of concept genre IP Bloody Vamps drew the attention of CAA. She's now gearing up to shoot ROT, which has built strong traction ahead of filming, with early press in Deadline and Bloody Disgusting and over 1M impressions socially  this will be her first feature, she also penned.

As a performer, Cat is a series regular on the Emmy-nominated series Onyx, currently appears in a festival-circuit short opposite Tony winner Renee Elise Goldsberry, and has worked on over 15 projects in 2026 alone.

Beyond her own slate, Cat works as a development producer, shaping strong ideas into clear, pitchable, finance-ready creative packages. She is also the founder of Creative Labor, a podcast and media platform centered on women in entertainment navigating ambition, motherhood, identity, and reinvention.

Across all of her work, Cat is drawn to stories that are intimate, disruptive, and deeply human.
